Ship Dates Can be automatically populated in VisualDLP when an Order is scheduled. There are settings in Global Settings module that control how the ship time is set. Higher priority means it overrides lower priority settings. If a user wants to override the dates/times set by Scheduling, they must do so after the Order has been scheduled.
Ship Times are either set by the user after scheduling the order, set by default for the lab, or they may be set per Route. A Route may have a morning and afternoon departure time. There is a Global Setting the determines if the morning or afternoon departure time is used by default. If the route does not have a departure time set, then the Default Shipping Time value is used. If there is not a Lab Default Ship Time or a Route Ship Time, then the current time is added to the Ship Date field. After the order is scheduled, the user may set the time manually and save the order.
