"Not accessible" error when accessing EFS

"Not accessible" error when accessing EFS

If you encounter this error while trying to retrieve scans, here's a simple solution to try:

The issue we've identified is that certain special characters in the patient's name, such as quotation marks (and possibly others), can cause problems when using EFS to retrieve .stl files.

If you find that you can successfully access files for a patient without any special characters in their name, but encounter difficulties when trying to retrieve files for a patient with special characters, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the patient's profile in EasyRx by clicking on the "Patients" tab at the top.

  2. Locate the patient with special characters in their name.

  3. Remove the special characters from the patient's name. For example, if the name includes quotation marks like "Test," change it to (Test) instead.

We have internally tested this solution and found that parentheses (like in the example above) do not cause any issues with the file path. Therefore, if you encounter problems with quotation marks used for nicknames or preferred names, simply switch them to parentheses.
