Production Locations - How to set up and different ways to implement

If you want to distribute your lab work among different "Production Locations," we have a feature that allows you to do so. This can be used for a separate lab facility, an affiliated lab where you send work, or even a different department within the same building.

*There is also a video for this which is attached. If you have a Practice account you will want to skip to 5:45*

To set it up, follow these steps:

  1. For In-House Lab users with a Practice account:

            a. Log in with your admin login.

            b. Go to the name of your Practice in the top-right corner.

            c. Click on "Account Settings."

            d. Switch to the "In-House Lab" tab. e. Scroll down to find "Enable Production Location" and check the box.

      2. For customers with an EasyRx Lab account:

            a. Go to "Configure."

            b. Click on "Enable Production Location."

            c. Scroll down to find the option and check the box.

and then hit "Save"

Lab accounts can now assign users to specific Production Locations, giving them access only to cases submitted to those locations.

We continue to refine the Production Location Feature. In this release we've added an automatic email notification when a Prescription is assigned to a Production Location.  For Lab user accounts of the "Clerical" type there will now be this option:
"If checked, email alert when Production Location is set on prescription."

When selected, when a prescription is assigned to a Production Location that the Clerical user is assigned to, a notification email is sent automatically to the user's email

Here is what that email notification will look like when it comes through:
