Doctors - Doctor Preferences
Adding Preferences to a Doctor's Record
From Order Management -> People -> Doctors menu
1. To add doctor preferences (work instructions) search and select a Doctor
2. Once the Doctor record opens, click on the Work Instructions tab
3. Click Add Global Instruction to type in the instructions.
4. To add special Instructions, click to type and lookup an Activity Name and/or Product Name and then click Add Instruction.
Note(s):
A Doctor can have 1 Global Instruction which will be included on all Orders by default.
A Doctor can also have:
- Special Instructions for an Activity Group which will print for all Products on an order,
- Special Instructions for a Product which will print for any Activity, or
- Special Instructions for a combination of a specific Product in a Specific Activity.
Adding Doctor Preferences to an Order
From Order Management -> Order Entry -> Create or Select an Order -> Notes/Designs tab
1. To View, Add, Delete or Modify preferences on an Order, click on the Notes/Designs tab
2. Click Add Note button
3. Begin typing in the Note's field to activate the Note Type drop-down menu.
4. Select the type Preferences and then type the Note text.
5. Click Save Note button
Note(s):
Preferences (Work Instructions) are added to a new order automatically when a Doctor is selected for the order.
Work Instructions are not retroactive, so will not be automatically added to past Orders.
