Setting up and using the EasyRx integration with Alliedstar Intra-oral scanner

Setting up and using the EasyRx integration with Alliedstar Intra-oral scanner

Here are the steps to set up the Alliedstar integration in your EasyRx account:

  1.  Ensure you're logged in as the Admin for your EasyRx account.
  2. Click on your practice name at the top right corner of the dashboard > click Account Settings > and click 3rd Party Integrations.

3. Scroll down a bit and look for Alliedstar Accounts > click "Add New Account".

4. You will get redirected to a page to input your Alliedstar username and password.
5. Once input, click "Authorized login".

6. When the accurate information is input, you'll see the pop-up that the authorization was successful.  Click "Confirm".

7. You'll be redirected to your EasyRx 3rd Party Integrations page with another message that the authorization was complete.

Using your Alliedstar Intra-oral scanner integration in EasyRx.

From your main dashboard/home page, you'll now see the "Alliedstar -- Recent Scans" table at the bottom of the left column.
There are three ways to access and attach the Alliedstar scan data:

1. You can see your available scans from the data table on the dashboard. Click Create Rx to start editing; the files will auto-attach to the Rx and can be seen in the Model Source, then you can Submit and track.

This is best for accounts that do not have a practice management integration set up with their EasyRx account. Please see our https://easyrxcloud.com/integrations/ page for available integrations.
Practice management integrations are available for Standard, EasyRx 3D - Standard, and Premium practice accounts.

2. If your practice uses a practice management integration with EasyRx, you can attach your AlliedStar scans from the Model Source section at the bottom of the Edit Rx page:

3. If you're an EasyRx 3D --Standard account or prefer to attach scans directly to the patient's EasyRx record, you can go to the Patients tab > search for your patient > click "View" > then scroll down to find the Alliedstar Upload section:

And that's it!  You're all set to start using your integration with the Alliedstar Intra-oral scanner.
