Remove band information Using EasyRx 3D Bracket Removal (EBR)

EasyRx 3D Bracket Removal (EBR) is only an available add-on feature for practices or labs currently using our 3D software 

  1. Find and select the file you would like to edit in your EasyRx 3D software with EBR




  1.  Click "Edit" then proceed to orienting the model.  Once Oriented, move the model around until you are focused-in on the lingual surface of where the band information is (start with one side when both left and right sides have bands)



  1. Go to your Bracket Removal section and select "Remove brackets".  Hold down your Shift key and left mouse click to drawn the line/circle around the lingual area of the band.



  1. Click "Remove Brackets" after you've made sure your line is solid (with no gaps) around the information you would like to remove



  1. Use the "Refine Tooth Surface" tools to remove, add, or smooth-out additional information
Note: on the lingual surfaces, most of the EBR refining tools work opposite what they do on the buccal surfaces. Use "Build" tool to carve/cut-away information and use "Margin" or "Build" tools to add information; "Smooth" tool works the same lingual or buccal. 

In this I used "Build" tool to remove information and create a more defined gingival margin.
Continue editing as you see fit and don't forget to save!
