What's New in February 2016 Update

What's New in February 2016 Update

For February 2016, we have introduced the following options/features into EasyRx:
  • iTero Case Order ID integration
  • Dolphin Imaging and Management software integration
  • New Prescription Feedback Screen
  • EasyRx 3D now supported in Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11 / Microsoft Edge)
  • External Patient ID is now visible when viewing Rx's and shows on PDFs

iTero Case Order ID integration
iTero and EasyRx Users can now rejoice. - One of the most sought-after integration is now ready for use! EasyRx Practice users can now link their EasyRx account with the MyAlignTech iTero website. When you create a prescription, the practice no longer has to export iTero STLs manually. You now have the option to instead, add an iTero Case Order ID of the scan you intend to use and submit that number to your lab. The lab can also set up the integration to their MyAlignTech so that EasyRx can proactively scan iTero Case IDs for new files! We also have provided a verification field so that when you type the Case Order ID, EasyRx can make sure the number you input matches the patient's name that it's linked with. As a bonus, we provide you with the MyAlignTech link so you can quickly and easily find the Case Order ID without having to exit your browser. Labs must have the iTero integration configured before their connected practices can send them iTero Case Order ID's. For practices: Not sure if your lab has done the configuration yet? EasyRx will automatically provide you with a notification that the lab still needs to configure iTero integration. We have a helpful guide below that practices and labs can easily follow to ensure you are all set to use this feature!

You can now create a prescription and then select the [Uploads] tab, where you normally upload an STL or file to the Rx. If the integration is enabled, you will see the option to enter an iTero Case Order ID #

Once an iTero Case ID is entered, EasyRx automatically searches your MyAlignTech account using your iTero login to identify which iTero patient your Order ID is linked with. This verification is fairly quick and only takes about 2-4 seconds, depending on your internet connection and iTero's server availability.

We also provide you with a quick link to MyAlignTech to find the Case Order ID#

NOTE: For both practices and labs, some setup is required to enable this feature.  We've provided complete details all that is required - Go here to read the Knowledge Base article.

EasyRx now integrates Dolphin Imaging and Management Software
After numerous cups of coffee and some serious code-smithing by the development team, EasyRx Practice Premium users now have the ability to integrate EasyRx with Dolphin!  The integration, which applies to both Imaging and Management, allows you to launch EasyRx from Dolphin and open existing patients or add new patients to EasyRx. Dolphin customers will be digging this.

Fine print:  Dolphin Management 7 or higher or Dolphin Imaging 11.9 Build 8 or higher required

New Prescription Feedback Screen and Filtering Options [All EasyRx Practice and Lab plans]

Back in January, we added a Prescription Feedback screen, allowing practices to provide valuable feedback to labs on individual prescriptions. Go here to read all about it:

We've now added a new Awaiting Feedback screen so practices can quickly review Prescriptions needing Feedback.
Plus, we added some handy filters. Practices can filter prescriptions awaiting feedback based on the following:
  • Submitted Date Range
  • Which Lab(s) your prescriptions were submitted to
  • Which Practice Doctor the Rx was assigned to

Labs can review and organize Feedback results based on:
  • Custom Date Range
  • Which Practice(s) sent the Rx
  • Which Doctor from the Practice was assigned the Rx
  • Which Lab Technician handled the case at the lab
  • This data can also be exported in XLS format

EasyRx 3D Now Supported in Internet Explorer 11
Our development team has tweaked our EasyRx 3D STL Viewer to now work with IE 11, also known as Microsoft Edge.

External Patient ID Now Shows on "View Rx" pages and PDFs
In an effort to provide the most concise information to clients, we now have included the External Patient ID information when viewing an Rx. You will now also see it when downloading the Rx as a PDF or when Printing an Rx.
