For March 2016, we have implemented the following enhancements and fixes to EasyRx:
Overview of our updates this month is as follows:
Enhancements
Fixes
- Acrylic Notes when using the Acrylic Color Chart (Premium Only Users)
(Enhancement) Adding the ability to send Rx notifications and account-related emails to a separate email address
As most of our Practice customers know, the default email address you signed up to login with EasyRx is the same email address we send account notifications to. This includes confirmation emails when an Rx has been submitted. Practices that were submitting numerous Rx's found their inboxes a bit heavy with our emails, so we thought it would be wise to put an option where you can specify these notification emails to get sent to!
(Enhancement) Renamed [Invoice Email] to [Notification Email]
This will now replace sending account-related emails mentioned in the above enhancement! This includes invoices, Rx submission confirmations, and lab notifications.
(Enhancement) Adding the ability to see current (GB) storage use for all EasyRx accounts
To help our customers track how much storage they are using on their EasyRx account, we've added a new field that shows this usage under the [Dashboard] --> [Stats] section.
(Enhancement) Prescriptions now show the [External Patient ID] on both PDF printouts and View Prescription pages
When viewing Rx's, you will now see your External Patient ID along with your patient's name. This now applies when viewing/printing PDFs of Rx's. For Practice Premium users that are using our Dolphin Integration, this will be the same number linked to your Patient ID in Dolphin Management and Imaging.
(Enhancement) Allowing In-house labs to unsubmit cases
We got some handy feedback from our Practice Premium users asking us to provide their in-house labs with the ability to unsubmit cases. We heard you clearly, so now you can enjoy the option to "unsubmit" a case back for adjustments, changes, and any other tinkering while being able to resubmit!
(Enhancement) Added 60-day password expiration
To give administrators greater control of password rules for your EasyRx user accounts, you now have the option to select a 60-day password expiration, requiring your users to change their passwords after this duration. This was added to the 30, 90, and 120-day options to better conform with HIPAA guidelines. You may find these options under the [Account Settings] --> [Security and Compliance] page.
(Enhancement) Labs: Comments on an Rx will generate an email notification (if configured)
When a practice comments on a prescription that has already been submitted to an EasyRx-powered lab, the lab account can receive an email notification that a new comment has been made. Previously, labs would need to either be informed by the practice of a new comment or need to view the Rx to see new comments.
To configure your lab to get an email notification, you will need to specify the email address the notifications need to get sent to: Go under [Configure] ---> [Notifications] and enter the email address (can be more than 1) that you would like emails to get sent to when a comment is made.
-----------------------------
For In-House labs: You can configure a separate email address that will be alerted when a comment is made for an in-house submitted Rx! A new field called the [Email In-House Notice To] can be designated for where the comment/notification emails will be sent. You may find this option under [Account Settings] --> [Account Options] at the bottom. You would want this to go to your in-house lab tech's email address.
(Fix) Acrylic Notes when using the Acrylic Color Chart (Premium Only Users)
Our development team received feedback this past month regarding our Acrylic notes section when using the EasyRx Premium Acrylic Color Chart feature. When notes were being entered, the Rx would always assume the note was for the "Upper" and would not allow a note to appear for the "Lower" arch.
We now reformatted the note to appear as a generalized "Acrylic Note", eliminating the need to select upper or lower first, to tie the note with the selected arch. This one notes field should be used for all your color/decal notes, regardless of arch. Please specify in the note if you have arch-specific notes. We hope this simplified approach makes it easier for labs to process your acrylic notes.
Here is how the note will appear for your labs, under the [Comments] section.
