What's New - February 2018

We've added a few new features, enhancements and program corrections to EasyRx.

iTero Integration Enhancement - In Beta 
We have started beta testing a couple really exciting changes to the ITero integration.  We have added a iTero - Recent Scans menu option to the Dashboard and a Lookup and Insert iTero Case link to the Uploads tab. The goal of this feature is to obtain the correct "Case Order IDs" for your patient's Rxs instead of manually logging into the iTero portal to find / copy and paste--speeding up the process! 




When selected, you'll see a list of all iTero scans, sorted chronologically, with the most recent scans on the first page 
  • You can refresh the list by clicking [Check for New Scans] at the top (like you just took a scan that is not displaying)
  • Click [Create Rx] to create a prescription for the selected patient. If the patient is found in EasyRx, the [Create Rx] screen is displayed. If the patent is not found, the lookup patient screen is displayed, allowing to link to a existing patient or create a new patient 
  • When the prescription loads, the iTero Case Order ID is copied to the Uploads tab and validated
  • [View Rx] is displayed if a prescription has already been created using that scan.  Click [View Rx] to view the prescription


We have added a new option Lookup and Insert iTero Case to the Uploads tab. The MyAligntech link still emails if you'd prefer to login to the iTero portal to obtain the Case Order ID manually.




When clicking "Look Up and Insert iTero Case" this opens a window displaying Recent iTero scans



The scans are displayed in chronological order, with the most recent scans on the first page.  
  • Click [Check for New Scans] to refresh the list
  • Click [attach scan] to attach the Case Order ID to this prescription 


In-House lab enhancements
We've added some cool enhancements to the dashboard for the In-house lab screen


You can now filter on the following:
  • Submitted Date
  • Manufacture Date
  • Needed By Date
  • Status
  • Office
  • Doctor 
  • Tag
  • Production Location 
  • Lab Tech
We also added row coloring to the In-House lab dashboard: Green for digital cases (cases that have a digital model source) and White ( for physical/plaster cases/non-digital)

In-House Labs can now track Production Location, Manufacture Date and Lab techs
We've added a new screen Lab Tracking Information screen to the View Rx page for In-house labs.  From this screen you can track:

  • Production Location 
  • Manufacture Date
  • Lab Techs


NOTE:
To enable Production Location tracking and define your lab techs, go to: Account Settings -- Configure  to setup Production Locations and Lab Techs.

New Dashboard added to all Commercial labs plans
We've added a enhanced dashboard to all Commercial lab plans:



You can now filter by:
  • Submitted Date
  • Needed Date
  • Date Range
  • Practice
  • Office
  • Doctor
  • Tags

New Date Range Filter Added
We've added Next week and Next week as date range filters to both In-House and Commercial labs



Template, Appliance and Part section added to the top of the Prescription page
To help with quickly identifying the template, appliance or parts on a prescription, these sections now display above the prescription image.  It also shows below the graphic, in the same spot as previously shown.




EasyRx 3D Enhancements

You can now choose your labels to Emboss or Engrave on models, regardless of if you placed a Hollow or Regular base!   



  • Both options are supported on Regular and Hollow models
  • Regular models default to engrave label type and Hollow models default to embossed.  Both can be switched as needed
This setting will apply to ALL your labels on the same model, you cannot choose one label to engrave and another to emboss at this time. 
Other 3D Changes:
  • We've added additional checking when saving files to remove special characters like $, &, * etc.  --- this previously caused saving issues
  • We've made changes to our Optimizer to support "print ready" SureSmile, Orchestrate 3D files and Invisalign exports.
Other "What's New" worthy tweaks and changes in the update.

Duplicate Compact RPE removed.
Somehow, over the years, we ended up with two Compact RPE parts in the Parts Library.  One of the Compact RPE's supported movement and one did not. to avoid confusion (hopefully) we have removed the Compact RPE with no movement from the Parts Library.   What this means:

-If you search the Parts Library, only the Compact RPE with movement is displayed
-Existing prescriptions with the Compact RPE with no movement were not changed
-Existing templates with the Compact RPE with no movement were not chaged

If you have any templates using the Compact RPE, we recommend reviewing and confirming the template works properly. If you prefer, you can remove the Compact RPE with no movement with the Compact RPE with movement, giving you more flexibility after the template is applied to a prescription

  • You'll notice, on the Create Rx page, the cursor defaults to the last name box. 
  • We've disabled "auto-fill" on all date fields, like Date Needed.  This change allows auto-fill to be enabled in your browser , but it will not impact EasyRx.
  • We've enabled the new Templates Default screen for   Commercial Labs. For more information on Template Defaults, see the What's New from January, 2018
  • We removed the Event Notification option from the Main Dashboard (to free up some space).  It can now be found under the Messages menu option
  • We fixed a bug where the Color Chart Preview did not work for Commercial labs
  • We fixed a bug where using the save as template button returned an error message.
  • We fixed a bug where TAD parts did not properly save on templates
  • We fixed a bug where adding or updating Model information on Templates removed existing model information already saved on the template
Part Changes:

Roncone RPE - Rear arms can be moved to the 7s
Modified Mushroom Spring -  Can now be moved to the lower.
Occlusal Facemask Hooks - Added to library
Carriere Bar - Added with movement
