Location Scanning

This feature will allow users to setup locations and when orders are scanned at a location it will be displayed on the order and in the order history.  It is useful for tracking order in the lab.



Creating Location to scan.

·         Navigate to Order Management -> Settings -> Scan Locations

 

 

·         Click Add Scan Location

 

       

·         Enter a location name, then click Save



Scanning Order Locations

Navigate to the Employee Interface Module.  Then, from the main screen of the module, click on Things You Can Do and select Location Scanning



Select a location from the drop-down and scan the employee ID from the Employee Barcode report and the Order Number on the workticket.




Then click submit.





An order's current location may be viewed on the order list or in the order itself.










You can also see the location scan history in the Order's History.
