Attn uLab customers who have enabled the EasyRx – uLab Integration
We posted a change last nigh where cases submitted to the uLab Systems Connected account show on the Aligner Tracking Dashboard. This is now live. We are working to enhance the integration to allows cases submitted to the uLab Systems lab to allow editing by the practice. These changes will support: un-submit CheckIn Undo CheckIn Mark as Completed We hope to have these changes out next week Also, today, files can be uploaded to uLab cases, after the cases are submitted. We posted a couple changes last night -We fixed a bug with the new Favorites feature where date ranges like "Last 30 Days" did not include the correct days -We fixed a bug which allowed cases to be submitted to the Universal Library of Parts and Appliances. SureSmile Files with Attachments
We're hearing more and more reports of issues with SureSmile files with attachments, with attachments being removed. We've seen the attachments removed in these scenarios: 1 Removed with Optimize runs 2. Optimize performance recently.
You may have noticed a spike in the time it is taking for STL files to Optimize once uploaded. Recently, we've seen a significant increase in the number of STL files uploaded to EasyRx -- especially large batches of STL files being uploaded at once -- most likely for clear aligner workflow. For example, we may see 50 or 100 STL files uploaded in a few seconds. It is perfectly fine customers are doing this; we need to handle it better. We've seen a increase in the number of SureSmile Scans uploaded to EasyRx 3D. We're finding many customers wish to use the EasyRx 3D Label Feature to label these models. In the August 24 update, we made a few changes to the EasyRx Optimize process to better handle these SureSmile Files: If EasyRx Optimize finds the SureSmile STL is compatible with EasyRx 3D, the Optimized process will execute and leave the SureSmile base on the file.
