Export Statements to CSV from My VisualDLP Page

We’ve added a new enhancement that allows users to export their VisualDLP statements directly to a CSV file from the My VisualDLP page. This improvement simplifies financial reporting and enables easier data analysis outside of the platform.
  • Users can now navigate to VisualDLP Statements and click the “Export Statements to CSV button.

  • Upon clicking, a CSV file will automatically download to your device containing all statement invoice data.

  • The enhancement resolves a prior issue where attempting to export caused an error instead of generating the CSV.

Benefits

  • Streamlined access to invoice data.

  • Easy integration with Excel or accounting systems.

  • Eliminates the need for manual data copying.

 Improved Magic Touch API Response Handling

We’ve improved how EasyRx handles MagicTouch API success responses to make the integration more reliable and easier to troubleshoot. This enhancement focuses on code efficiency, clarity, and better observability of API interactions.
  • Refactored Logic: Moved API response-handling logic into a dedicated helper function for improved maintainability and consistency across the platform.

  • Enhanced Logging: Added clearer and more detailed log entries for MagicTouch API response codes to make it easier for developers and support teams to monitor and debug integrations.

  • Improved Reliability: Ensures consistent interpretation of success responses and reduces potential edge-case handling errors. 

InfoAdded Disconnect Account for iTero users

We’ve added a new “Disconnect Account” action on the Manage iTero Accounts page, giving users greater control over their connected iTero accounts. This enhancement allows users to cleanly remove a linked iTero account and automatically clear any associated scans from their dashboard.
  • A new Disconnect action is now available on the Manage iTero Accounts page.

  • When selected, the system will:

    • Remove the selected iTero account from the user’s profile.

    • Remove scans from that account appearing under Recent Scans and Recent Orders on the dashboard.

  • The enhancement leverages internal handling for disconnection. While the iTero unpair API is not required, the system can optionally call the existing unpair subroutine in the iTero DPMS service to fully unpair the account if needed.

  • Enables users to manage and disconnect iTero accounts directly within EasyRx.

  • Keeps dashboard data clean and relevant by removing scans tied to disconnected accounts.

  • Improves data integrity and gives users flexibility to manage multiple integrations.

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  1. Select 3rd Party Integrations.

  1. Click Manage under iTero DPMS Accounts.

  1. Click Disconnect next to the account that should be disconnected.

Optimized Clinical Staff View for Large Practices

We’ve improved the Clinical Staff page performance by updating how the clinicalStaffSuccess view loads and displays staff data. Previously, the page relied on a hand-built HTML table with custom client-side sorting and filtering, which caused slow load times for larger practices with many active staff members.

  • Replaced the legacy client-side table and sorting logic with a more efficient server-side data loading approach.

  • Optimized data retrieval and rendering for faster page performance.

  • Improved scalability for practices with a large number of active clinical staff.

  • Reduced browser memory usage and client-side processing delays.

Benefits

  • Significantly faster load times for practices with large staff lists.

  • Smoother user experience when sorting or filtering staff data.

  • Improved system responsiveness and reliability across all practice sizes.

InfoAllow practice to disable forcing patient creation through PM in iTero integration
We’ve added a new configuration option that allows practices to disable the requirement for patient creation through their Practice Management (PM) system when using the iTero integration. Previously, this behavior was hardcoded for specific practice IDs, limiting flexibility.

Bulk Retry of Failed iTero Scan Exports via SuperAdmin Interface
We’ve introduced a powerful new bulk retry feature in the SuperAdmin interface that allows EasyRx superadmin users (such as CX and management teams) to manually reprocess failed iTero scan exports. This improvement provides operational independence and eliminates the need for developer intervention following extended iTero outages.
  • New Bulk Retry Option: Superadmin users can now select and retry multiple failed iTero scan exports directly from the SuperAdmin dashboard.

  • Improved Recovery Workflow: Designed for situations where iTero outages cause scan exports to permanently fail, this tool enables quick recovery of affected exports without waiting for backend developer scripts.

  • Visibility Enhancements: The interface includes clearer export status indicators, making it easier to identify which exports failed and have been retried.

  • Empowers CX and management teams to self-serve and recover failed exports after outages.

  • Reduces dependency on engineering teams, speeding up issue resolution and minimizing downtime impact.

  • Improves data reliability and operational efficiency within iTero integrations.

  1. Log in as a SuperAdmin user.

  2. Click the Utilities menu.

  3. Click the Tero v1 & v2 (DPMS) Bulk Retry.

  4. Select the time range to retry and initiate the retry.

Properly Escaped Inch (") Specifications During Data Export
We’ve resolved an issue affecting how inch (“) specifications in comments were handled during export. Previously, double quotes used to denote inches were not properly escaped in the exported data, which could cause formatting issues or truncated text in CSV or other export files.

  • Updated the data_export_sd.php export process to properly escape double quotes (“) within comment fields.

  • Ensures that any inch-based measurements or annotations are correctly displayed in exported files.

  • Prevents errors or corruption in exported CSV and data output files containing inch symbols.

Benefits

  • Accurate and complete data export, even when inch (") symbols are used in comments.

  • Improved data integrity and consistency across exported files.

  • Eliminates manual cleanup or correction of exported files.

For those of you who have a Commercial Lab account, you can now have an alert emailed to you when a Production Location is set on an Rx. Instead of an individual email, you can also opt for a daily report and/or pop-up messages within your browser. Production Locations are typically used to move cases between departments, but you could set them up however would work best for you.

Some adjustments were made to our Ship Date Automation rules (the ability for In-House Labs and Commercial Lab accounts to set their turnaround times based on Appliance types). At one point it was not taking Appliances into consideration and was only calculating off of Part rules and Part category rules.

This tool could be a big help with your schedule of appliances and setting realistic expectations on your turnaround times- if you would like to see more about setting it up that can be found here:

Practices with our 3D AutoServices can now set their files to run automatically only on the Templates/AI Profiles that they have mapped. This means that not every file will run once it's uploaded, only what you want to have processed based on the Template design applied/case type.
NotesSome minor fixes were applied to the saving of 3D AI Profiles, most notably to ensure that the Pt Name that pulls from the Rx onto the label on the model always stayed dynamic.

For our growing customer base outside of North America, we have taken more steps to ensure that the international date format can be used with all of the functions needed to keep your Practice organized.
At one point the View Rx>Date Needed page for In-House Labs and Commercial Labs would not allow changing that date if the date convention was set to mm/dd/yyyy. This has been resolved.

You can now save the 3D AI profiles outlined below from the Request AI Service page (clicking Request next to a Patient name on the 3D Command Center)

 All of the Dashboard tabs now have the same color-coding option.
This is intended to serve as a visual cue when a case has not been marked as Received (back from Lab and ready to be picked up) when the Patient's Appointment to come pick it up is approaching.
To choose whichever color you'd like, if you click on the name of your Practice in the top-right corner and then go to Account Settings, it will be under Dashboard Options.

Our 3D Auto Services can automatically remove brackets, base raw STL files, create a PTS path for trimming machines, and can generate auto blockouts. We have introduced a couple new options to further tailor this feature to your needs. This is a separate Sales plan; more and more offices find this to be a huge time-saver.

This is found under the name of your Practice in the top-right corner>Account Settings>3D AI Software (must be logged in as an admin)

You can also see these options from the 3D Command Center page, but to save time please note that you can save time by locking in presets on the page above. Around March or April we should be ready to introduce different presets for different bases/appliances.

When a lab views a prescription, if the prescription has a part on it that the lab has marked inactive, a little pop-up window should come up on the view prescription page to alert the user that the part is disabled.

We now have an Rx recovery tool in case anyone on your staff deletes an Rx accidentally. This should fully retrieve the files.
You are also able to limit a login's ability to delete Rxs if you edit your User Account permissions by going to Account Settings>User Accounts

We have released 3 new Parts to the Universal Library that all Practices and Labs should be able to access now:
